What Is The Best Medicine For Abortion?
Hi Doctor My wife is having unwanted pregnancy (1 month) and we don t want a second baby because my first baby is just one year old. First delivery was caesarean so she needs to have break for 2-3 years at least suggested by Dr. My wife is 28 with normal Hb, no other complication except thyroid that too normal. Kindly suggest us any suitable medicine.

MIFEPRISTONE followed by MISOPROSTOL is the safe and effective option to terminate the intrauterine pregnancy.
But it should be used under the supervision of the gynecologist after confirming the intrauterine pregnancy by USG scan.
My method, mifepristone 600 mg orally should be followed by misoprostol 800 ug vaginally by the gynecologist after 48 hours.
Abortion process will start with in 45 minute and complete in next 4-5 days.
Follow up visit at 7th day and USG at 14th should be advisable to confirm the complete process of abortion.
Avoid self medication use at home without medical supervision as it cause serious complication like excessive bleeding and incomplete abortion
After abortion: take rest for 48 hours, healthy diet with iron supplements, maintain proper pelvic hygiene.
Use safe sex practice in future to prevent unwanted pregnancy.
